Duration of the activity: 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes

The activity examines Latin inscriptions and themes related to classical culture in the 15th and 16th-century Flemish tapestries exhibited in the Royal Collections Gallery. Students will actively work on original and translated Latin texts, as well as topics related to iconography and tradition.

These sessions will be divided into a more theoretical part conducted in the room for teaching workshops at the Gallery, and a practical part in the Hall of the Habsburgs, carried out in very small groups in front of each tapestry.

Registration* is free of cost, but requires booking in advance via email to educacion@patrimonionacional.es
