Lecture in the series: "The Royal Collections Gallery: The pillars of a great project”.

The Director of the Gallery will explain the selection procedure for the 650 items included in the inaugural exhibition, which are a small sample of the 170,000 objects that make up the Royal Collections.

Designing this exhibition has not been an easy task. The diversity of works, materials and typology of these collections is combined with the rotating nature of the exhibition where a third of the works will be rotated, both for reasons of conservation and to exhibit new items.
