What’s included with my ticket?

Your ticket grants you access to all the museum’s exhibition areas: the Habsburg and the Bourbon halls, the Immersive Cube, as well as the temporary exhibitions that don’t require a specific ticket. When in doubt, just ask our staff

The Royal Collections Gallery has a maximum capacity, so tickets include a specific entry time. Be sure to choose a time slot that suits you best.

Which activities can I enjoy with my ticket?

Ask our staff at the Learning Program information counter on Level 0. You can sign up for one of our guided tours, subject to availability. We’ll guide you through the exhibition!

Can I take photos or videos?

Photos and videos are allowed throughout the museum, but please avoid using flash as it can damage the artworks. For temporary exhibitions, just ask our staff.

However, selfie sticks and other stabilising devices for cameras or phones are not allowed.

Are the exhibition halls cold?

It is our responsibility to ensure the proper protection of artworks, so please keep in mind the following:

  • In summer, we recommend bringing light outerwear as the exhibition halls can be cool.
  • In some exhibition halls, the lighting is a little dimmer than usual.

If you’ve lost any personal belongings, please go to the information counter on Level 0 and tell our staff what you’ve lost. We’ll be happy to help!
