High anticipation for the Gallery’s open days: all 10,000 free tickets snapped up

The first open day of the Royal Collections Gallery has been a great success, with long queues of people visible early in the morning at the entrance next to the viewpoint on the cornice of the Royal Palace in Madrid.

The public's anticipation for the opening of the Royal Collections Gallery, the cultural highlight of the year, meant that nearly 10,000 available free tickets have been given away. Patrimonio Nacional has scheduled four open days -29th June and 5th, 6th and 7th July-, with prior booking free of cost on the Gallery's new website: https://www.coleccionesreales.es.

From 8th July onwards, visitors to the new Royal Collections Gallery can purchase tickets in person at the museum's ticket offices, as well as online through its website. Opening hours are from 10am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday (until 7pm on Sundays and bank holidays). The price of general admission tickets is 14 euros, reduced admission tickets, 7 euros, and entry is free from 6pm onwards, from Monday to Thursday.
