Exhibition “Raphael at the Palace. Tapestries for Philip II”

On the occasion of the 5th centenary of the death of Raphael (Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino, 1483-1520), Patrimonio Nacional presents, for the first time, the complete series of tapestries of the Acts of the Apostles, from the collection of Philip II, and its constituent narrative passages: those of Saint Peter, Prince of the Apostles and Vicar of Christ, and of Saint Paul, Apostle of the Gentiles.
